WHY WE BELIEVE THE NUVOLAA® BED IS THE BEST MATTRESS FOR BACK PAIN
NUVOLAA® Tri-Foam Architecture®. Working together to alleviate and prevent back pain. One of the best things to lessen back pain—and prevent it from occurring later in life—is to mitigate spine stress. Because it is intrinsically engineered for sleep comfort and spinal health, regularly sleeping on a NUVOLAA® bed provides anyone the best chance of having the correct kind of sleep.

“During recovery, surgeons usually put joints in need of immobilization in a loose-packed position. Simply defined, a loose-packed position is where the joint capsule is completely lax and there is no tension placed on the ligaments. For the spine, one has to consider intervertebral (IV) discs besides joint capsules and ligaments. The IV discs have pressure and tension in them. So the loose-packed position of the spine would have the least stess in the IV discs. Among the positions of lying, standing, & sitting, the laying position gives less strain on the spine. While standing allows the spine to assume its natural curves, a superior mattress like NUVOLAA® that supports the natural curvature of the spine in a lying position would have the least compression in the IV discs. Having the least amount of pressure would allow the discs to imbibe water more efficiently during sleeping hours–this would contribute greatly to spine health.”

3 COMMON BACK-PROBLEMS THE NUVOLAA® BED CAN ALLEVIATE
BURSITIS
An individual who has this type of pain typically has inflammation in their bursae (a small fluid-filled sac between cushioning the bones, tendons, and muscles beside joints). Bursitis usually affects the hips, shoulders, and elbows; sometimes the big toe, heels, and knees are also affected.
Nuvolaa’s Solution: A hard and uneven mattress aggravates bursitis. However, because Nuvolaa has the IntelliCu® Swirl layer in its Tri-Foam Architecture® the “swirled” gel cushion’s open-cell design prevents pressure on the hips and shoulders by distributing body weight evenly on each layer of the mattress.
OSTEOARTHRITIS
Also known as the most common form of arthritis, this disorder happens when the cartilage cushioning and preventing the bone from rubbing against each other erodes with age. It typically affects the hands, knees, hips, and spine.
Nuvolaa’s Solution: Because pressure on the spine’s facet joints, neck, and shoulders tend to increase when laying on one’s back, side sleeping is the recommended position by sleep experts to mitigate pain. The durable grouping of Nuvolaa’s three high-density layers, perfectly cradles and contours the body as one sleeps. While the stability of the IntelliCu® Control memory foam prevents sagging, it is also intentionally architectured to absorb motion.
HERNIATED LUMBAR DISC
Much like a jelly-filled doughnut, the IV disc has a rubber-like gel in its center which is encapsulated by strong fibers. When the disc fibers deteriorate through age, the gel seeps out through a tear in the exterior disc casing. This, in turn, irritates and puts pressure on the spinal nerve and causes inflammation, swelling, and pain.
Nuvolaa’s Solution: The semi-prone position with the hurting side on top—in a 45-degree angle—will help alleviate herniation. This allows gravity to assist the rubber-like gel to seep back inside the disc casing. Especially in cases like these, NUVOLAA® is specifically engineered to cradle the body. The durable grouping of three high-density layers intentionally absorbs motion and minimize disturbances and movement from others.

Nuvolaa’s patented Tri-Foam Architecture® mattress is a specially designed system of three-memory foam layers with a variety of features working in concert to deliver combined benefits no one foam can do alone. It contours and supports the curves of the body and spine, helping keep one’s natural spinal alignment in any sleep position.
—Actively cushions and distributes your body weight, reducing the tension and pressure from your spine, joints, and ligaments.
—Absorbs and dampens motion, minimizing movement from bedmates to keep sleep undisturbed.
—Dynamic heat dispersal that keeps the sleep surface cool for continuous all-night comfort.
